Factors: Factors are the various elements or conditions that influence or contribute to an outcome or process. In the context of education, factors are the different variables or circumstances that affect how teaching and learning occur, including resources, teacher expertise, student attitudes, institutional support, and external influences.

Affecting: “Affecting” refers to the action of influencing or having an impact on something. When we say factors are “affecting” the teaching and learning of Geography, we mean that these factors are influencing or shaping how effectively Geography is taught and learned in the classroom.

Teaching: Teaching refers to the process of imparting knowledge, skills, and values to students through various methods and approaches. It involves not only the delivery of content but also engaging students, fostering critical thinking, and adapting instructional strategies to suit diverse learning needs. In the context of Geography, teaching involves conveying both physical and human aspects of the subject, using tools like maps, fieldwork, and digital technologies.

Learning: Learning is the process by which students acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes, or competencies through study, experience, or teaching. In education, learning is often evaluated through assessments, such as exams or projects, which measure how well students have understood and internalized the material. Effective learning occurs when students actively engage with the content, making connections to real-life situations and critically analyzing the information presented.
