If I were to be promoted to the position of Minister, my first objective would be to optimise the performance of the agency under my purview. I would make it a priority to learn as much as I could about the existing situation, the obstacles, and the potential solutions.

I would work hard to establish a system of openness and responsibility. In my opinion, they are vital to establishing credibility with the community and encouraging an honest work environment within the agency. If elected, I would make it my priority to make choices that are in the public’s best interest and to get those decisions out to the public as soon as possible.

Supporting creative thought is another area I’d prioritise. Adaptability and readiness to change are essential for government agencies in today’s dynamic and unpredictable environment. As a leader, I always try to inspire my team to find novel approaches to problems.

In addition, I would put an emphasis on teamwork. In my opinion, we can do a lot more if we pool our resources and think about problems from different angles than we could on our own. I would work hard to forge solid bonds with related divisions, stakeholders, and the general public to guarantee that everyone is pulling in the same direction.

Finally, I’d work hard to embody the ideal of a servant leader. As a minister, I do not see myself in a position of authority, but rather one of service. As a leader, I would strive to put others before myself and prioritise the needs of the community and my team.

In conclusion, if I were to become a minister, I would work hard to model ethical leadership, encourage creativity, promote teamwork, and put the needs of others before my own. In my opinion, these are the most important qualities for a Minister to have in order to lead effectively and make a difference in his or her position.
