INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background to the Study

Aquaculture has become an important component of food production and livelihood generation in Nigeria, particularly because of the increasing demand for fish as an affordable source of animal protein. 1.2 Statement of the Problem

Catfish farming has become an important commercial aquaculture activity in Ogun State, but small-scale farmers continue to face challenges associated with production costs and efficient resource utilization. Feed represents one of the most significant production expenses in catfish farming, meaning that poor feed-management decisions can substantially affect the profitability of an enterprise.
