This creates a gap in understanding how local factors—such as regional infrastructure, socioeconomic conditions, and institutional capacity—shape the adoption and impact of internet‑based learning platforms on academic outcomes. Without an in‑depth investigation into these issues, stakeholders lack evidence to guide interventions that could enhance the effectiveness of technology‑mediated learning.
Therefore, this study seeks to assess the effects of internet‑based learning platforms on tertiary education in Minna LGA, including how these platforms influence academic performance, student engagement, and instructional practices. By identifying enabling and constraining factors, the research aims to provide insights that can inform policy reforms, training programs, and infrastructural investments to improve technology integration in tertiary education.
